Making sure our brands are front and centre at major cycling events are an important part of brand awareness in the Australian market. After 2 years of lockdowns and restrictions the BikeSportz team made the pilgrimage to Adelaide earlier this year. We showcased a plethora of brands including Santini, The Vandal, Northwave, BBB Cycling, Campagnolo, Bryton and Science in Sport.
Major sponsors for this event, Santini who are the official clothing supplier of the three official race leader jerseys: the Ochre general classification leader jersey, the polka-dot King of the Mountains classification leader jersey, and the red Sprinter classification leader jersey. In addition, there was a new limited edition cycling kit designed by our very own BikeSportz creative team, which was dedicated to the latest event colours and motifs.

Not only did we have a ball designing the limited-edition cycling jersey, but our Brand and Account Managers engaged throughout the tour with dealers (our customers) and brands we distribute who came from around Australia and internationally to see the latest products, discuss opportunities and of course soak in the action of the first UCI race of the season – The Santos Tour Down Under.
Santos Tour Down Under
The Santos Tour Down Under is the first stop for the World’s best cycling teams, held annually in South Australia. It is a 10-day event that brings together male and female UCI World Tour professional teams to race on the streets of Adelaide and across regional South Australia. The Santos Tour Down Under also offers prize money equal for both men and women, making it the first cycling event in the world to do so. Alongside this, there are mass participation rides, street parties, and live music creating an exciting festival atmosphere across South Australia. The event is managed by Events South Australia with support from the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and provides a significant contribution to the state's tourism industry through global television coverage.
